Trophy Eyes Share ‘Chlorine’, The First Single From New Album ‘Chemical Miracle’

Australia has yet again reaffirmed its place at the forefront of the international alternative music scene with our very own Trophy Eyes announcing their next album Chemical Miracle, set for release internationally on Friday, 14th October.

To coax us in, the band have released the maiden single off the effort, Chlorine, fit with official visuals. The band have tried their hand at the narrative video concept, set in the once hotbed of late night emotional, cognitive and spiritual discovery – the laundromat.

As per the song’s lyrics, its title is more than just a fitting nod to the album name and potentially album concept. It’s so much more. The song’s subject matter seems to be based around a near death experience in a pool, however with one life saved, another was eventually lost. Fuck me that’s heavy.

Chances are you won’t have to wait until October to hear more of the record. The band will be spending much of August meandering their way across the country with The Amity Affliction.
