Pharma Bro Martin Shkreli Says He’s Putting Out A Rap Album Now

Martin Shkreli, the pharmaceutical executive who was behind a ridiculous AIDS drug price increase in 2015 and the current owner of Wu-Tang Clan’s $2 million album Once Upon A Time In Shaolin, says he is putting out a rap album himself soon, although the internet is struggling to believe him.

Posting to Twitter today, Shkreli says he’s preparing to release an 11-track album featuring a “club banger” called What Dat Mouf Do, and a song called The Professor where he shows off his “surgical, and at times, academic flow”.

Shkreli, who says he’s thinking his rap name will be M$ (with the altar ego of The Professor), is trying pretty hard to convince the internet that his rap album is real, although we’re speculative given that he once claimed to have been scammed of $15 million while trying to buy Kanye West’s latest album.

“My album isn’t a pharma parody or no bullshit,” Shkreli says. “It’s anthem after anthem I put down for the streets because I am a serial beat killer.”

Shkreli also claims that his supposed rap album contains a diss song against Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah called Ghostbusters, but says the album takes shots at other rappers too.

Meanwhile, a new musical about Bill Murray teaming up with Wu-Tang Clan to steal back their album from Shkreli, opened in July to a sold-out first run of shows.
