New Foo Figthers Album ‘Wasting Light’ Plays Like a Setlist

Dave Grohl has mentioned in a recent interview with NME that upcoming Foo Fighters album ‘Wasting Light’ plays as if it was sequenced like a setilist the band would play live.

“The new record is sequenced like a setlist. It all makes perfect sense to me. Even if they weren’t in that order on the record, I think that’s the order we’d put them in to play them.”

In the interview (which also included drummer Taylor Hawkins), they both talk about losing sleep while making the new album, playing live and being able to get away from each other from time to time.

Foo Fighters will be in Sydney on March 24th to do a secret live as a part of a world wide broadcast on Channel V, Triple M as well as MAX. Is it likely they could knock out the entire album for this gig? Probably not…

You can check out the interview on NME.

New album Waisting Light will be released on April 8th.
