Dave Grohl Pictured In Korn’s Studio During New Album Recording Sessions

Slipknot’s Corey Taylor has already been outed as a guest on the forthcoming Korn album The Serenity Of Suffering, and it seems we can now add Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl to record’s rumour mill.

Korn drummer Ray Luzier has taken to Instagram to post a picture (below) of Grohl stopping by the studio while Korn were recording The Serenity Of Suffering, complete with the caption, “That one time when Grohl stopped by our studio for #serenityofsuffering sessions.”

Luzier further thanked producer Nick Raskulinecz for making the new album “so awesome” in the post. Raskulinecz worked with Grohl and Foo Fighters on projects like One By One, In Your Honour and Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, making it very likely that he pulled the frontman into the studio.

It’s unknown at this stage whether or not Grohl will appear on the final version of Korn’s new record, but this is surely a good sign that he may have contributed in some way.

We know Slipknot frontman Taylor will be on the record, though. Guitarist James ‘Munky’ Shaffer already let slip that Taylor’s singing on a track. “We have Corey singing on one track and it’s going to be a fan favourite because he really lets loose,” he said.

The Serenity Of Suffering is set for release on 21st October. It features the slamming new single Insane, which you can dig into alongside Luzier’s Instagram photo of Grohl, below.
