Man Charged For Sexually Assaulting Teenage Girl At Selena Gomez’s Melbourne Concert

A 30 year-old Melbourne man has been charged for alleged sexual assault at a number of concerts including at Selena Gomez‘s Melbourne show.

Gomez brought her Revival tour here last month and during that concert the man approached a teenage girl and allegedly sexually assaulted her. Following the incident Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team released footage of the man, appealing to the public to help find him.

They were also looking into whether the man had approached other concertgoers on the night.

Now, Vic Police have confirmed that they have charged an Altona man with six counts of sexual assault against teenage girls and women between September 2015 and now.

“The arrest was made following an appeal for information after a teenage girl was allegedly sexually assaulted at a Margaret Court Arena concert on 6 August,” reads a Vic Police press release.

The man fronted court this afternoon, however, at this stage the outcome is unknown.

He was originally described by police as being about 162cm tall, with a medium build, brown short, wavy hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion.
