Beyond The Valley Launches New All Ages Dance Music Festival, ‘Pitch’

Congratulations, Victoria! You’re the proud recipient of a brand new all ages dance festival dubbed ‘Pitch’.

The three-day bush doof, which is set to make its debut in March of 2017, is brought to you by the brainiacs behind such corker Victorian music fests as Beyond The Valley (pictured above) and Let Them Eat Cake.

As Stoney Roads reports, Pitch Music & Arts Festival will be packing a sumptuous spread of carefully curated live electronic music acts, alongside a visually stimulating arts element masterminded by Matt Bonner, who’s pretty much the sole reason why the Let Them Eat Cake always looks good enough to eat.

There’ll also be live art experiences and bespoke food and drink offerings on the cards, plus family areas and kids’ programs as per the festival’s AA policy.

Pitch also have your accommo sorted with free camping, options for glamping (#treatyoself), and off-site hotels with regular rides to and from the festival.

And while they haven’t given us any hints as to the event’s exact location yet, Beat seems to be privy to some insider info, heralding the festival as “three days of music in the mild meadows among the blue gums”, which will have a “dedicated commitment to an inclusive ethos and sustainability”.

While Pitch’s official website describes the experience in the following terms:

“A brut-tropical border community of the arts. A three day ceremonial daze in the mild meadows of Victoria. An annual echo of neoteric sounds – showcasing a distinct collective of international and local artists amongst the astral views.”

Pumped yet? While there’s been no whisper of a lineup at this point in time, you can bet your glowsticks that with BTV and Let Them Eat Cake’s Novel team involved, it’s going to be pretty darn world class (ICYMI: Beyond The Valley just dropped a monster lineup for 2016/2017 featuring Chance The Rapper playing his first ever Aussie show, plus ZHUMontaigneWhat So Not and loads more.)

More will be revealed in October, so stay tuned.
