Nate Dogg cause of death

Yesterday we reported the sad news of Nate Dogg’s death but at the time the cause of death was unknown. Speaking with Associated Press Nate Dogg’s Lawyer Mark Geragos confirmed he died on Tuesday of complications from multiple strokes. At 41 it seems like such a young age to die of a stroke however rates are increasing in people aged 40 to 60.

Tributes continued to pour in today with Eminem stating:

“Nate’s voice in music will never be replaced. He helped create the blueprint for West Coast hip-hop, and I was one of the lucky people who had the privilege to work with him and the honor to have him as a friend

“Nate will be sorely missed. My condolences and prayers go out to his family and loved ones.”

Warren G :

“Nate’s passing is a terrible loss to all of those who loved him or had the opportunity to work with him. He will be greatly missed, but he would want us to celebrate his life and the music he made.

You are free now my brother, I will see you again one day.”

Nate is being described as the unsung star of hip hop. His unmistakable tones were found on tracks by Eminem, 50 Cent (21 Questions), The Game, Xzibit, Mariah Carey, Eve, Ludacris (Area Codes), Lil’ Jon, Nelly, Redman and Mos Def; he stole the show on Ooh Wee from Mark Ronson’s first LP; and was on speed dial whenever Dr Dre (The Next Episode) or Snoop wanted a soulful verse in a track
