Axl Rose Is Reportedly Being Sued For A Bunch Of Money By A Former Bandmate

He may be fronting a hugely successful Guns N’ Roses reunion tour, but just a few years ago Axl Rose was crying poor, promising to fix up debts once he came good again. Well, now that the cash is flowing, one former live bandmate has filed a new lawsuit against the singer.

As TMZ reports, former Guns N’ Roses multi-instrumentalist Chris Pitman supposedly made a deal with Rose back in 2012, where he would receive the USD$125,000 he was owed by the band for a week’s work as soon as the band were good for it.

But according to TMZ, Pitman’s follow-up calls have been met with silence, and he says Axl now owes him over USD $163,000 due to interest.

It’s not a good look when the North American leg of Guns N’ Roses reunion tour recently pulled in around $US116.8 million ($AUD154 million) from 25 shows. You’d think if Axl wasn’t good for it yet, one of the other guys could cover the debt with the spare change at the bottom of their suitcase.

In fact, Pitman is well aware of how much cash the tour would be making, given that he slammed the initial announcement as “a money grab” in a now-deleted social spray earlier this year.

The reformed Guns N’ Roses will tour Australia in February 2017, where they’re sure to take home many more millions of dollars.
