Just when you thought this year’s MoVement Sydney celebrations were already jam packed, organisers have gone and injected a whole lot mote into the five-day event, ramping the total up to 25 carefully curated shindigs going down in the various nooks and crannies of Sydney this October.
Popular venue El Topo has been thrown into the mix, as has Yahtzel, who will be performing there. Freda’s in Chippendale has also announced their MoVement brand party, Pulsations. For the nerds out there, Insert Coin(s) will be hosting a Halloween party with Resident Evil 7: Biohazard pumping and sets from Purple Sneakers MVPs DJ Levins and Martin Novosel.
When there’s a party happening in Sydney, you know the Stoney Roads boys are involved, and this is no different — they’ll be showcasing Daft Punk Unchained and Human Traffic at actual cinemas with plenty of live music to boot.
Sugar Mountain Festival is also set to present Potluck, an exhibition at Goodspace Gallery from renowned Tokyo-based Australian artist and illustrator Karan Singh.
