Sammy Hagar Visited By Aliens

Many have thought former Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar a little ‘special’ over the years, so this might come as not much of a surprise to some, but Hagar believes his mind was tapped into by aliens many years ago.

The Guardian reports on Hagar’s new memoirs, Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock, which the singer wrote with Joel Selvin. In it, Hagar claims that a long time ago, before he was in Van Halen and such a famed figure in music that he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007, he was visited by extraterrestrials. “I know there’s something out there,” he says, “and someday they’ll come.”

Hagar describes how he was visited by aliens whilst in California, saying, “I was lying in bed one night … dreaming. I saw a ship and two creatures inside of this ship. I couldn’t see their faces. I just knew that there were two intelligent creatures, sitting up in a craft in the Lytle Creek forest area about twelve miles away in the foothills above Fontana. And they were connected to me, tapped into my mind through some kind of mysterious wireless connection.”

Hagar insists that rather than just a dream, “Aliens were plugged into me … Either a download or an upload. They were tapped into my brain and the knowledge was transferred back and forth. I could see them and everything while it was happening.”

In an interview with MTV Hive, he explains that he wanted to go more into his UFO obsession in the book, but was advised to go easy with the aliens by Selvin. “I love it, man. I’m into it deep,” he said.

This is not the first encounter a rock star has enjoyed with beings from another galaxy. Elvis Presley would frequently tell those around him about his alien experiences, while John Lennon, Mick Jagger and Jimi Hendrix are all said to have reported strange goings-on.

Australia’s own Sneaky Sound System released the single UFO in 2008, which is an account of singer Carrie Mitchell’s encounter with a UFO while she was hanging out her underwear in her backyard.
