Resurrected Narara Music Festival Reveals 2017 Lineup

The newly revived Narara Music Festival has unveiled the lineup for its triumphant return edition, after last taking place in 1984.

The rock & blues festival has revealed a heap of acts for its revival edition, including NSW South Coast band The Vanns, veteran jazz & blues outfit The Snowdroppers, Sydney indie roots act Lepers and Crooks and up-and-coming indie rockers Wild Honey.

They’ll join names like Polish Club, Chase The Sun, Bones Jones & The Skeletones, Transvaal Diamond Syndicate, Pappa Pilko & The Binrats and Space Carbonara at the festival, which is set to take place on Saturday, 6th May.

The event was originally set to take place in Ourimbah’s Forest Of Tranquility, but after an “overwhelming” response from fans it was moved to the larger, camping-friendly venue Mt Penang Parklands — the home of Mountain Sounds.

Organisers have also announced that all the bands will play at least one song from bands who played the original Narara Festival, some of which include INXS, Cold Chisel and Angels.

In a nod to the old festivals, Narara 2017 will have no glamping or market stalls, but there will be some plenty of solid food options and bars.
