Shihad Announce New ‘FVEY’ Australian Tour Dates

Adopted Aussie rock sons Shihad have unveiled the final run of tour dates for their ninth studio album FVEY.

Following a sold-out bundle of shows down under earlier this year, the Kiwi-bred collective will perform one last pair of dates in regional Victoria, and bring it all home with a performance at Melbourne Music Week, which will see them stake a claim to become the loudest band ever to play inside the iconic State Library.

The performance will cap off the touring cycle for the veteran band’s critically lauded and incendiary alt-rock album FVEY, and mark their final live show before they return to the studio to record album number 10.

Speaking with Music Feeds earlier this year, frontman Jon Toogood spoke of the band’s plans for their next record, saying: “I’m really interested to see what’s going to come out, because I feel like the state of the world has intensified since we wrote FVEY so maybe the music might be more intense too? Which will be interesting because that was a pretty intense record!”

Tickets to Shihad’s final FVEY shows are on sale now. Catch all the details below.
