Corey Feldman Returns To The ‘Today Show’ For Another Weird AF Performance

’80s child star turned singer Corey Feldman has returned to the scene of his mind-bogglingly bizarre performance last month on the US Today Show, to defend his previous appearance with another truly wack-job effort.

His previous performance saw him wearing a black hooded grim reaper outfit, dancing and singing in front of his ‘Angels’ (who live with him at The Feldmansion) — a performance which went viral and copped an seismic public backlash, which saw Feldman afraid to leave his home. Because, well… this happened:

In his own defence of his first appearance, Feldman says that at his lowest point a friend of his, Brian McMullen, told him to consider all musical geniuses who were initially hated before they were loved.

“I was all depressed and I was crying,” Feldman says. “And [McMullen] said, ‘Think of it this way. When Kiss first started, when Eminem first started, when Nirvana first started, they all got hate. People were turning them off at the radio stations. People were walking off the dance floor at the clubs because it didn’t make sense to them at that time. But those all became amazing legends.'”

Feldman also says that plenty of celebrities had given him support since the initial Today Show appearance. He has since heard from “Pink, Kesha, Miley Cyrus,” and more, supposedly.

He then takes to the stage, once again accompanied by his angels, and this time dons a golden tracksuit. As he performs his latest single Take A Stand, Feldman slowly strips down to an all-white outfit, and appears to intentionally pitch notes incorrectly.

While perhaps not quite as overtly confronting as the first performance, there’s still been a mix of responses online. Check out some of the best alongside the video footage, below.
