Former Asking Alexandria singer Denis Stoff has confirmed that he left the band for personal reasons, and wasn’t forced out.
The band confirmed last week via a Facebook live video that original frontman Danny Worsnop had returned to the band, starting up rumours than Stoff may have been forced out.
As the rumours began to build, Sumerian Records founder Ash Avildsen tweeted; As requested, I’ll release a video clarifying what happened with AA. If Denis denies the truth, emails and texts prove everything.”

Now we’ve finally heard from the departed Stoff, who has denied that he was kicked out or strong-armed by the band to accommodate the return of Worsnop.
“I left AA because I can’t be in a touring band at this point in my life,” he tweeted.
Stoff went on to say that there had been no conflict in his departure, “There’s no drama & I don’t want to be a part of it.”
