Drake has made it clear that he’s not about to back down, despite backlash from fans after his new track Two Birds One Stone appeared to diss Kid Cudi and his mental health.
ICYMI: Cudi hit out at Drake and Kanye West in a bunch of tweets back in September, shortly after which Cudi checked himself into rehab for “depression and suicidal urges”.
In one of Drake’s recent Instagram posts, a series of fans questioned Drizzy motives for getting super personal by going after Cudi’s public struggles with depression.
User nohakelly wrote, “Used to have little respect for you after finding out you have a ghostwriter, but dissing Kid Cudi is going too far. Fuck you, man.”
Drake’s response was far from apologetic, inferring that all Cudi had needed to do was not drop his name when he was out of his mind on drugs. “Mans need to stop mentioning my name when they get geeked,” Drake commented.
