AFI Announce New Album ‘AFI (The Blood Album)’, Drop Two New Tracks

US alt-rockers AFI have announced the release of their 10th studio album AFI (The Blood Album), and have teased it with the release of two brand new tracks.

AFI (The Blood Album) will be the group’s first album in almost four years, following the release of 2013’s Burials. The album will be released on 20th January 2017 via Caroline Australia, but it’s being preceded by two tracks Snow Cats and White Offerings, which are both available to stream right now, below.

The new album was recorded in LA and produced by the band’s guitarist Jade Puget. It was also co-produced by British producer Matt Hyde, who worked on Deftones’ album Gore.

AFI revealed earlier this year that they were working on a new record, but have been very vague with details so far. These new tracks are the first hint we have as to the direction of the album, and you can stream them below.

While we don’t have a tracklist for The Blood Album just yet, you can view the album’s cover art below as well.
