The Belligerents‘ latest single Caroline has been rattling around in our headphones (and loins) for a couple of months now, and today the Brissie outfit have gone and double-dosed, dropping some stunning visuals for the song right here on Music Feeds.
The band keep things simple for the video, opting for a tried-and-true performance clip, but when you’ve got a track as perfectly crafted as Caroline on your hands, it’s best you let the music do most of the leg work. Catch the A+ video, below.
As described by the band, Caroline is a “backwards love song”; rather than focus on a potential lover, Caroline is about an unattainable one. The track is psychedelic and shimmering — the perfect introduction to the band’s debut album Science Fiction, which is slated for an early 2017 release.
The album will be the first batch of jams from the band since their maiden EP Outside:Inside, which has also been a regular feature at their recent Caroline tour dates. The final show of the tour takes place in Brisbane tonight — details below.
