Childish Gambino has just confirmed what appears to be the title of his new album, Awaken… My Love!.
In a tweet today, Gambino captioned the above image with simply ‘Awaken… My Love!’ in quotations, confirming speculation about the title of the record that surfaced on Reddit just a few days ago.
The record is expected to be released on Friday, 2nd December — a date which was found alongside the title in a US electronics store, and was briefly confirmed by Amazon Germany and AllMusic before the date was taken down.
Gambino previewed the forthcoming album at his Pharos show at Joshua Tree in California in September, leading most to believe that the album would actually be called Pharos.
You can catch Childish Gambino exclusively at Field Day 2017 and Falls Festival later this year, hopefully with his new album in tow.
