Skrillex Allegedly Spotted Recording New Music For His Old Emo Band

It looks like Skrillex may be heading back to the rock world and his old band From First To Last, at least momentarily.

Footage has emerged on Reddit (via Dancing Astronaut) which appears to show Skrillex singing in a dark recording booth, and it’s definitely not for his electronic work.

Skrillex, known in the rock world by his real name Sonny Moore, left From First To Last in 2007, due to vocal chord damage. In July, Skrillex previewed a collaboration with his old band on Beats 1, with many speculating at that point that he was reuniting with them. The band then shared a speculative article on their Facebook, stirring the pot even more.

From First To Last have carried on without Skrillex, releasing three records since his departure. They recruited a new lead vocalist Spencer Sotelo, however he left this year, opening a door once again for Skrillex.

Reddit is once again speculating that Skrillex will be the lead vocalist for their next album, however, he’s yet to confirm anything at all just yet.

Skrillex’s decision to move into the electronic world has worked out extremely well for him. He’s had phenomenal success with his own solo projects and Diplo-collaboration Jack Ü, and has also produced for the likes of Justin Bieber, Elliphant and A$AP Rocky.
