NTS Radio opened its new Los Angeles branch last week, so British producer has Bonobo teamed up with our very own Nick Murphy to put together an awesome two-hour mix to celebrate.
The artist formerly known as Chet Faker chatted with Bonobo as they played a mix of house beats, up-beat cuts and chilled-out vibes over the two hours.
They spun tunes by the likes of Gold Panda, Theo Parrish, Yussuf Kaamal, La Vie, James Welsh and Romare, as well as a tribute to Sharon Jones, who passed away earlier this month. Stream the mix alongside its full tracklist, below.
Murphy and Bonobo are known mates, and this session was an awesome step in the right direction if there’s any chance of another collab between them sometime in the future.
Murphy has already dropped new music this month, and is building up to the release of a new album next year. He’ll also perform at Laneway Festival 2017 in February.
Bonobo’s new album Migration is due out Friday, 13th January 2017.
