D.D Dumbo Added To Laneway Festival’s 2017 Lineup

Laneway Festival organisers have now announced that Castlemaine-hailing artist D.D Dumbo has joined the event’s 2017 lineup for all dates (with the exception of Adelaide) as the replacement for The Julie Ruin, who pulled out of the festival last week.

D.D Dumbo (real name Oliver Perry) recently took out the J Award for Australian Album Of The Year for his impressive debut album Utopia Defeated, and Laneway 2017 will see him play his first live shows in two years.

He’ll join a lineup headlined by the artist formerly known as Chet Faker, Nick Murphy, who’ll play his first Aussie shows under his birth name; and Tame Impala, who’ll probably be taking a well-deserved break after the festival.

2017 will see Laneway return to locations in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Fremantle and Sydney, and you can check out the full lineup and ticketing deets below.

UPDATE 09/01/16: King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have been announced as the final addition to this year’s Laneway Festival lineup.
