Matt And Alex’s Final Rave In Brisbane Last Night Was Absolutely Off Chops

Outgoing triple j brekkie lads Matt and Alex wrapped up their week-long five raves in five days last night at Oh Hello in Brissy, and if you thought they were going to finish off the week quietly, well you clearly don’t understand the meaning of ‘rave to the grave’.

There were a bunch of killer DJ sets and live performances by a slew of triple j favs including Amy Shark, Confidence Man, Ball Park, Feki, Gill Bates and The Jungle Giants.

As per usual, the boys brought enough tunas for everyone in the crowd to have their daily dose of omega 3.

There were also some stand-out performances, with Amy Shark taking things down a notch with a special live performance of her single Adore.

Shark also proved that she’s equally adept as a ‘facilitator of filth’ behind the decks.

Clearly it was getting intensely hot and sweaty, so lucky Ball Park Music were on hand to keep everyone sufficiently hydrated.

Gill Bates pulled off the most seamless crowd-surfing of the week.

And of course, there was the now-compulsory dropping of Da Rude’s anthemic Sandstorm – ending the boys’ week-long farewell party in the most fitting way possible.
