The Weeknd put on a hell of a performance in LA overnight, breaking out a bunch of tunes from his brand-spanking-new album Starboy.
The album features a stack of epic collaborations, and midway through performing his Kendrick Lamar collab Sidewalks in LA, The Weeknd surprised a raucous audience by bringing out Lamar himself, to rap his own verse.
The best part was that it took a little while to sink in that it was actually Kendrick on the mic, with the crowd initially assuming it was a recorded verse, only for Lamar to emerge from the back of the stage.
Starboy is already a runaway success, breaking Spotify’s record for most streams in one week shortly after its release.
