Field Day Announces Replacement Act After MØ Pulls Out Of 2017 Lineup

Sydney’s New Year’s Day festival Field Day has announced that local singer-songwriter Montaigne has replaced on the event’s 2017 lineup, after the Danish muso cancelled her scheduled trip to Australia yesterday.

Montaigne is set to perform on Field Day’s Island Stage at 3pm on Sunday, 1st January, just before Tkay Maidza hits the very same stage.

Montaigne released her debut album Glorious Heights earlier this year, at it went on to land her the 2016 ARIA Award for Breakthrough Artist. She’s an Aussie festival fave, so she’s a no-brainer to replace MØ on the 2017 Field Day lineup.

MØ cancelled her scheduled appearances at Field Day and Falls Festival yesterday, as well as her two Falls Festival sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne.
