Flight Facilities Have Been In The Studio With Broods

Flight Facilities and Broods are two of the finest purveyors of smooth electronic music so it’s welcome news that they’ve been holed up in a studio together.

The Flight Facilities boys Jimmy and Hugo were in Auckland for Laneway Festival and they took the opportunity to collab with the country’s best and brightest.

They shared a photo from the studio with Broods frontwoman Georgia Nott and a ukulele which is a very interesting combo indeed.

There was an audio snippet shared on their Instagram story but unfortunately it’s now disappeared meaning we’re just going to have to wait for an official song to surface.

As triple j point out, it’s not the first time they’ve collabed together.

Last year both acts got in the studio together while on the Groovin The Moo tour to make some music.

“It sounds nothing like Broods and nothing like Flight Facilities,” the other half of Broods Caleb Nott told Veronica & Lewis at the time.

It’s been three years since Flight Facilities released their debut album Down To Earth. Broods on the other hand dropped their second record Conscious last year and scored two places in triple j‘s Hottest 100 last week.
