Melbourne singer-songwriter Tash Sultana has announced a string of 2017 headline shows around the country, following her recent success on triple j‘s Hottest 100.
Revealing details of the tour on social media, Sultana told fans, “Yo Australia it’s been ages since I’ve played any headline shows,” before announcing new shows in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane between March and May, before she jets off to Europe, the US and Canada.
Sultana will be supported by Sydney outfit Ocean Alley and live-looping Melbourne muso Reuben Stone at select dates on the upcoming tour, which is quickly selling out in some cities, with new shows already being announced.
Recently spotted in the studio working with Matt Corby, Sultana has gone on to have her hit single ‘Jungle’ take out the #3 spot on triple j‘s Hottest 100 of 2016.
Sultana will also performing at a bunch of Aussie festivals in the coming months, including Party In The Paddock, Groovin The Moo and Port Fairy Folk Festival.
