As I Lay Dying’s Tim Lambesis Has Been Released From Prison

As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis has been released from prison on parole, after originally being jailed in 2014 for six years, for conspiracy to murder his wife.

Alternative Press has confirmed that Lambesis was in fact released on Saturday, 17th December 2016 from a California prison.

Original reports of his release were heard when former Dokken guitarist George Lynch suggested as much during an interview on Eddie Trunk’s show from the Monsters Of Rock Cruise. Lynch said, “He just got out of jail for attempting to kill his wife.”

“He recently got out of jail. Destroyed his band. They don’t have a pot to piss in now — they’re all struggling.

“Anyways, he’s out. He’s got a mega-record deal. He’s got a book deal. Everything’s lined up for him. I mean he’s going to skate through life. Everybody else is suffering. His wife is living in fear. His children are living in fear.”

A source close to Lambesis reportedly said that he had asked around at his local gym in 2013 about whether anyone knew any hitmen. That person then called the police, who arrested Lambesis as he attempted to give a plain clothed police officer pictures of his wife, her address, alarm codes and USD$1,000.

In 2016, Lambesis claimed upon being first incarcerated that he was denied medication to treat his anabolic steroid withdrawal for 10 days, and as a result now suffers from gynecomastia (the enlargement of a man’s breasts). Lambesis planned to sue the jail’s medical team upon his release.
