Boris Announce 2017 Australian Tour To Toast 10th Anniversary Of 10th Album ‘Pink’

Reigning Japanese lords of experimental Boris are coming back to Australia for a new tour in honour of the 10th anniversary of their 10th studio album, Pink.

The eardrum-destroying noise-makers will be returning down under in May of this year, for the first time since 2015, to perform their critically-acclaimed 2005 album in full for fans across Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth.

And they won’t be doing it alone, with Perth based post-metal act Tangled Thoughts of Leaving coming along for the ride.

The turbo-prolific act have released a mind-smashing 23 albums in their two-and-a-half decade spanning career, with Pink being one of their most significant. The LP shone like a beacon in the mid-2000s metal scene with its potent combo of infectious energy, hypnotic atmosphere and broken boundaries between hard rock and shoegaze.
