Sticky Fingers Share “Biopic” On The Ups & Downs Touring Life

Sydney rockers Sticky Fingers have sent a message from their hiatus, revealing a short tour diary and biopic that doubles as the video clip for their track ‘No Divide’.

The film takes in footage from behind the scenes of their last overseas tour, and includes short confessionals from the guys about the struggles of touring on a cramped tour bus, with an increasingly toxic environment between members going some way to explaining their well-publicised internal issues in 2016 which led to their hiatus.

The short film was directed by Rhys Day; the man behind the clips for Sticky songs including ‘Outcast At Last’, ‘Out Town’ and ‘Gold Snafu’. He combines intimate close-ups, with footage of the band playing live, touring around Europe and having fun, and cuts it with some bizarre stunts including a man covered in fire and a white horse running down a quiet street.

It’s weird, it’s wacky, it’s out of control, and yet somehow it’s captivating – capturing the essence of Sticky Fingers almost perfectly.

After announcing an indefinite hiatus in December 2016, Sti Fi confirmed last month that the break was not a sign that they were breaking up and indicated that they would be back some day.
