The Weeknd‘s seems to be the only one right now able to bring Daft Punk out of hiding.
They first performed with him at the Grammy Awards and now they’ve made an appearance in his video for ‘I Feel It Coming’.
The video for the ‘Starboy’ track which Daft Punk produced is an otherworldly experience following an intergalactic love story centring around The Weeknd.
We’re left to wait right until the end until the French robots appear and even then it’s only a very brief cameo.
Daft Punk are notoriously selective with who they produce songs for. In the past five years they’ve only contributed to songs for Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and The Weeknd.
They haven’t released an album of their own since 2013’s Random Access Memories.
