Shannon Noll’s Strip Club Assault Charges Have Been Dropped

Singer-songwriter and Aussie icon Shannon Noll has been let off the hook, with an Adelaide court dropping assault charges made against him following an altercation with a bouncer outside the Crazy Horse strip club in Adelaide earlier this year.

In a statement posted to Instagram, Nollsie says, “Great news as I just found out that the SA Police have withdrawn the assault charge against me.

“Justice prevails in the end and a big thank you to everyone for the support over the past months. Am looking forward to my next gig this Saturday at Hope Estate – onwards and upwards from here!”

Noll was arrested after being involved in a scuffle outside the Adelaide venue in January this year. At the time, an onlooker claimed that Noll was “intoxicated” and had said to a bouncer “I’m Shannon Noll, let me back in.”

Footage later emerged of Noll speaking with venue staff and being pinned to the ground by security.

Today’s decision comes just over a month after Noll failed to turn up to his first scheduled court appearance because he was advised “that it would be a simple adjournment”.

Since the arrest, which followed a music festival at Mannum, Nollsie has continued to tour the country with his swag of true blue songs.

In other news, he’s also picked up a “custom bonnet” for his Holden today, so it’s safe to assume it’s been a pretty good day for Nollsie.
