In Hearts Wake Drop New Single ‘Passage’ From Upcoming Album ‘Ark’

In Hearts Wake have come good on their promise, today dropping a new single called ‘Passage’ from their upcoming album Ark.

‘Passage’, which is based around the refrain “Who’s steering the ship?”, comes with a cinematic music video co-directed and written by the band’s frontman, Jake Taylor.

“No crabs were harmed in the making of this video,” the Byron Bay lads say.

“There is currently no unified vision or global stewardship. Instead the blind lead the blind as we ‘drift in the eye of the storm’ toward our own destruction. We have lost touch with ourselves and the divine intelligence of the Earth–the only planet that provides us with safe passage.

“Humankind set out to conquer, but we are only enslaving ourselves. ‘We’ve torn apart this precious Ark as fuel for the fire.’ Caught in a storm, with no compass to guide us, our ship is in need of repair. We must resist slipping into apathy and despair, and set a new course towards wise, timely action.”

‘Passage’ follows In Hearts Wake’s previous single ‘Warcry’. Ark, which is set for release on 26th May, will be the follow-up to In Hearts Wake’s previous album, Skydancer.

Following the album’s release, In Hearts Wake will go on a national tour throughout July.
