Memphis muso Julien Baker is going the whole hog when she returns down under for Splendour In The Grass this year.
She’s put other Splendour acts to shame with their piddly two or three sideshows, announcing a full-blown Australian tour to bolster her performance at the Byron Bay festival in July.
The enigmatic solo singer/guitarist will bring her gripping live show to crowds in Ballarat, Melbourne, Belgrave, Sydney and Hobart (yep, congrats Tasmania, you got one!) in the lead-up to her gig on Day 2 of Splendour.
Baker’s second soujourn to Australia will also see her perform new material, including tracks like ‘Distant Solar Systems’ and ‘Funeral Pyre’ (below).
