The National Tease New Music And Video

The National could be set to release their follow up to the 2013 album Trouble Will Find Me, with the band sharing a snippet of new music.

The 30-second video not only contains new music but also a newsbar with the phrases “Sleep Well Beast” and “The System Only Dreams in Total Darkness” at its base.

Along with the new clip, The National have updated their website and it now contains a time-lapse video of the band hard at work in a studio.

We first heard news of a new album from the US indie-rockers in 2015, when Matt Berninger indicatied that they had 30 “sketches of songs” written at the time.

The band unveiled a new single earlier this year titled ‘Turtleneck’ at a Planned Parenthood concert in Washington, DC.

While they haven’t released an album for a while, The National did go ahead and curate a Grateful Dead tribute album last year featuring covers by 60 different artists.

Check out the mysterious new teaser clip below.
