Alison Wonderland Teases Huge Collaborators For Her Second Album

Alison Wonderland has given a few sneaky hints as to who might appear on her highly anticipated second album.

The Aussie producer is currently in Los Angeles, but she’ll definitely be back in the country at the end of this year to play Split Milk Festival alongside Cashmere Cat and Lorde, and it seems she may have something in common with the latter.

She spoke to triple j about her second album, and revealed that she’s been working with Joel Little, the Kiwi producer behind Lorde’s huge debut album Pure Heroine.

“Joel is the best! He’s awesome, and because I’m in LA at the moment, he’s a New Zealander, I’m an Australian and we’ve set our differences apart and it’s just nice to work with someone who has the same sense of humour as you, so that’s something I really miss. I really miss home,” she said.

She also revealed that she’s been working with Lido, who featured on her first album and has also remixed her last track ‘Messiah’.

Apart from that, she didn’t give any specific names, but she did point us in the right direction for clues.

“You’re just going to have to look at 808s and Mates list on my podcast for Radio Wonderland and some of those names I’ve worked with and some of them I haven’t and that’s all I’m allowed to say,” she said.

She’s had some huge names on there including What So Not, Skrillex and Ekali.

The new album is still a little while off yet, though. Wonderland has said she’s “trying to write and kinda keep it real” at the moment, making it hard to say what the exact direction of the album is just yet.

It’s been two years since the release of her all-conquering debut Run. Let’s hope we get to hear some new music at Spilt Milk.
