Watch Audioslave’s Heart-Wrenching Performance Of ‘Like A Stone’ With The Crowd Providing Chris Cornell’s Vocals

Audioslave‘s remaining members Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk have paid tribute to former frontman Chris Cornell once again with a moving rendition of ‘Like A Stone’.

Earlier this week, the three members performed the song with System Of A Down’s Serj Tankian on vocals but this time around they let the crowd fill that spot.

They played the song in Berlin during a Prophets Of Rage show, leaving Cornell’s spot at the centre of the stage empty while the crowd valiantly sang along. The trio were filmed performing the song in the studio together last week.

Cornell’s final performance with Audioslave was in January of this year when they played at the Anti-Inaugural Ball in Los Angeles.

In a recent Rolling Stone interview, Morello said that after the reunion Cornell said that he would, “love to do this again”, however they never got the chance as Cornell passed away in Detroit last month.
