Blue Mountains hailing singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin has been touring pretty much non-stop since the release of her massive 2016 album Don’t Let The Kids Win, so it’s come as something of a surprise that she’s just dropped a brand new tune titled ‘Eastwick’.
Jacklin’s first new music for 2017 shows another level of her musical potential, and if anything showing an even further developed maturity to her vocals and melodies.
‘Eastwick’ starts off as a quiet, acoustic and contemplative, slowly building in density and growing into a distorted, rock masterpiece complete with heavy electric guitars.
Jacklin is currently still touring overseas but will be back in the country for Splendour In The Grass 2017 which is set to go down next month.
