Tom DeLonge Has Cast The Lead Actors In His Forthcoming Alien Sci-Fi Film

Since departing Blink-182 in 2015, Tom DeLonge has dedicated a significant amount of time investigating UFO activity on earth, even publishing books about the subject.

Now he’s gearing up to release a movie based on his Strange Times franchise which follows the story of a group of skaters from San Diego who investigate the paranormal activity in their home town.

DeLonge, who will direct the film, has also just revealed that Jack Samson of Zodiac and Lizzie Broadway from Bones will play the two lead roles in the film.

“There were more than 3000 casting submissions for the film, but Jack and Lizze immediately stood out,” said DeLonge in a statement. “They’re incredibly talented actors who each bring a unique energy and perspective to the film. We were blown away watching them bring Charlie and Alli to life.”

The film will also have an original score by DeLonge’s band Angels & Airwaves.

We’ve also recently heard that DeLonge and former bandmate Travis Barker are having “serious conversations” about making new music together again, potentially with their other band Boxcar Racer.
