Melbourne’s Cherry Bar Announces Epic Guns N’ Roses Party For Appetite For Destruction’s 30th Bday

We’ve yet to hear anything from Guns N’ Roses about plans to commemorate the 30th anniversary of their game-changing 1987 album Appetite For Destruction, so Melbourne rock house Cherry Bar is taking matters into its own hands.

The AC/DC Lane sleaze den has announced a special tribute bash for Gunners’ iconic debut LP, recruiting a supergroup of local legends to perform it in full.

The house band for the night will feature members from Cherry Bar all-star acts Dead City Ruins, Atomic Riot, Darcee Fox and Skarlet plus an array of guest vocalists performing all the tunes off AFD plus more of your GnFnR faves.

What better way to celebrate the greatest hard rock album of all time than by witnessing it brought to life by Australia’s new crop of talented hard rock musos?

The 30th birthday show will go down on Friday, 21st July — 30 years to the day since Appetite For Destruction was first released.

Catch all the details below.

Meanwhile, ICYMI: the semi-reunited OG lineup are reportedly working on a brand new album.
