Watch Nine Inch Nails Give A Spine-Chilling Performance On An Episode Of ‘Twin Peaks’

Nine Inch Nails have made an epic cameo in the latest episode of the rebooted Twin Peaks series, performing at the small town’s fictional roadhouse, The Bang Bang Bar.

Trent Reznor & co delivered a demonic rendition of ‘She’s Gone Away’ off their 2016 Not the Actual Events EP after crossing over into the Twin Peaks universe (where they’re apparently known as “The Nine Inch Nails”).

David Lynch’s recently revived murder mystery series, which has been smashing it in terms of critical reception, seems to be reinvigorating the beloved 90’s and early noughties tradition set by TV shows like Buffy & The O.C. of getting big name bands to perform at the characters’ fave haunts and we are definitely here for it.

It’s also worth noting that NIN’s cameo comes following quite the collaborative history between Reznor & Lynch. As Pitchfork points out, Reznor scored Lynch’s post-Peaks film Lost Highway, before Lynch directed NIN’s ‘Came Back Haunted’ music video in 2013.
