Queens Of The Stone Age Are Playing A Free DJ Set During Their Aussie Tour

Fans who missed out on tickets to Queens Of The Stone Age’s sold-out Splendour In The Grass sideshow in Sydney will be pleased to learn that most of the band will be dropping by rock n’ roll den Frankie’s Pizza By The Slice to spin some feel good hits of the summer winter while they’re in town.

QOTSA members Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman and Dean Fertita will take over DJ’ing duties at the dive bar on Tuesday, 18th July, the night before their big Sydney headline gig.

As with all Frankie’s events, entry is free AF, but just make sure you get down early to make sure you’re not stuck queuing up Hunter Street like a fool.

“They’ll be DJing from 8pm and we welcome all y’all to join the fun, free of charge,” Frankies’ official Facebook event proclaims.

Just try not to fangirl out too much if you bump into the lads in the Fun Room loos.

QOTSA are of course heading to Australia for Splendour In The Grass off their forthcoming new Mark Ronson-produced album Villains.

Catch all the deets for their free DJ set at Frankies below, and all their Splendour sideshows right here.
