‘Marky Mark’ Wahlberg Might Be Getting Back Into Music Via A DJ Khaled Collab

Former Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch frontman Mark Wahlberg largely left behind the world of rap after the 90s when his film career took off, but all hope may not be lost for those awaiting a potential return to music.

The ‘Transformers’ and ‘Ted’ star is obviously well enough off thanks to his successful acting career, but his legitimate talent as a musician remains timeless through songs like ‘Good Vibrations’ and ‘Wildside’ that popularised some of the most well-known samples of all time.

Now it appears that Wahlberg could be about to re-vitalise his music career with the help of prolific producer DJ Khaled.

In an interview with HipHopDX Whalberg was asked who Marky Mark would be collaborating with today if he was still a musician,

“DJ Khaled,” responded Wahlberg candidly. “I’ve spoken to him a couple of times.”

“We’re trying to do some other things together,” he went on to say, which surely has got to be a good sign for those awaiting the return of Marky Mark.

In the meantime, revisit Mark Mark and the Funky Bunch’s amazingly ’90s video for ‘Good Vibrations’ below.
