Watch Corey Taylor Get Choked Up While Dedicating Stone Sour’s ‘Through Glass’ To Chester Bennington

An emotional Corey Taylor has just shattered our hearts with a tearful performance of Stone Sour‘s epic ballad ‘Through Glass’, dedicated to his fallen rock brother, Chester Bennington.

The world is still reeling from the shock news of the 41-year-old Linkin Park frontman’s tragic death just days ago, which has since been confirmed as a suicide.

“We all lost somebody today,” a clearly heartbroken Corey told the crowd at Stone Sour’s Massachusetts gig on Thursday night, after learning of Bennington’s passing.

His voice cracking with sadness, CT continued: “I lost a friend… and this was one of his favourite songs. And I wanna dedicate to him. Chester, we will fucking miss you.”

He then kicked into a powerful performance of the Come What(ever) May cut as the crowd sang along en masse. You can watch fan-shot footage below but maybe keep a box of tissues handy because fuck knows this song can turn us into emotional wrecks at the best of times.

It comes after Korn dedicated a performance of ‘4 U’ to Bennington at their gig, also in Massachusetts.
