Eskimo Joe Are Celebrating Their 21st With A Huge Orchestra Show

UPDATE: Eskimo Joe Are Celebrating Their 21st With A National Tour In 2018

ORIGINAL STORY: Paint your fingernails black and load up on red wine, because Aussie rock veterans Eskimo Joe are kicking off their 21st birthday celebrations next year with one very special show.

They’re teaming up with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra to reimagine all of their classic tracks in one huge performance, going down on home turf at the Perth Concert Hall on Friday, 23rd February.

But it seems Westies won’t be the only ones getting an invite to the veteran band’s big 21st festivities, with The Joe teasing that “this is the first step; there’s more to come!”

“2018 sees Eskimo Joe turn 21 years old. Twenty-ruddy-one!” say the band.

“To commemorate this occasion in style, we’re teaming up with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra for a musical journey through Eskimo Joe’s history.

“We’re so unbelievably excited to be working alongside the incredible depth of talent at The West Australian Symphony Orchestra and reimagining our favourite tracks for you. You have all been there with us for the ride, so we’d love to see you at the show.”

The band adds: “This is a truly unique show, so make sure you don’t miss out. For all of you outside of Perth, this is the first step; there’s more to come!”
