Liam Gallagher Performed A Throng Of Oasis Hits At Leeds Fest Overnight

Liam Gallagher was just this week announced on the lineup for Falls Festival 2016/2017, and now we might have caught a glimpse at the kind of set he’s likely to perform when he touches down in Australia.

Gallagher’s debut solo album is due out later this year, but at his set at Leeds Festival overnight the founding Oasis member dove back into the discography of his famous band, as well as performing some of his own new solo work.

NME reports that LG delivered a headline-worthy set, as he kicked things off with ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Star’ and ‘Morning Glory,’ leaving the crowd in raptures.

Later in his set, he performed ‘D’You Know What I Mean?’ ‘Slide Away’ and ‘Be Here Now,’ before announcing to the crowd  “You’ve come all this way and I’ve come all this way, I’m gonna do that ‘Wonderwall’ shit” and performing the classic track.

This is all potentially great news if you’re planning on heading to Falls Festival this year, so keep your fingers and toes crossed that LG puts on a pretty similar show at Lorne, Byron, and Marion Bay at the end of the year.
