Watch Corey Taylor Stop Stone Sour’s Sydney Show Mid-Song To Help Injured Fan

Not all heroes wear capes. In fact, some of them wear Wu-Tang Clan singlets. At least, that’s what Corey Taylor was decked out in when he paused Stone Sour‘s Sydney show to help out an injured punter.

Footage has emerged of the incident, which happened during the hard rock act’s Hordern Pavilion show last Saturday night, showing CT pausing in the middle of the band’s tune ‘Gone Sovereign’ and throwing his hand up to drummer Roy Mayorga to get him to stop playing.

“Alright, everybody back up,” Corey tells the crowd. “There seems to be a medical issue. Make some room for the professionals to get in there, guys.”

Fans quickly shuffle out of the way before breaking into cheers & applause in support for the injured dude.

“You alright, kid? Is everybody good?” CT repeatedly checks to make sure that the injured fan is A-OK before expertly switching gears to get fans pumped up again for the band’s next tune, ‘Absolute Zero’ (banger).

What a champ.
