Camp Cope To Preview Their Next Album At Just-Announced Melbourne Show

Camp Cope are teaming up with their m8s Cash Savage And The Last Drinks for a special co-headlining show in their hometown of Melbourne to close-out 2017.

The big gig, which has been dog-eared for The Forum on Sunday, 3rd December, will also see the she-punk trio bust out some brand new tunes live off their soon-to-be-announced second album, the follow-up to their eponymous Australian Music Prize-shortlisted debut.

Opening proceedings on the night will be Melbourne four-piece RVG, whose brand of post-punk comes highly recommended by the Camp Cope ladies.

“I can’t believe we are saying this, we are playing our very first show at The Forum and it’s with two of the best bands in all of Melbourne, Cash Savage & the Last Drinks, and RVG,” the band posted on Facebook by way of announcement.

“A few weeks ago, I (Thomo) was sitting at the old bar complaining with cash that after 2 years of talking about it, we still hadn’t booked a show together. A few texts and lunches later, we are playing at the most beautiful theatre in Australia.

“This is our last headlining show until we disappear til March so come and cap off the year and maybe hear some new songs we’ve been working on.”

Well, you heard ‘er.
