Following the birth of My Filthy Riot in 2008, Sydney’s up and coming boutique rock festival returns over two big days on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March at the Annandale Hotel.
With a cracking line-up of 51 bands including The Scare, Regular John, Philadelphia Grand Jury, Art Vs Science, Fait Accompli, Teeth and Tongue (Melb), Fire! Santa Rosa Fire! (Adel), Songs, Talons, Oh Mercy (Melb), Sherlock’s Daughter, The Amazing Phillip Sisters (Melb) and Aleesha Dibbs, My Filthy Riot will celebrate everything that’s great about the local music scene.
With 51 bands across three stages, plenty of DJs, a chill out area, Thai food and a BBQ, My Filthy Riot is the place to catch your next favourite band playing like there’s no tomorrow – and all for a price that won’t send you broke!
The first My Filthy Riot was held at the Annandale Hotel in October 2008 and was subsequently nominated for a Sydney Music Arts and Culture (SMAC) Award. The brainchild of promoters Ray (My Sydney Riot) and Tony (The Filth), the event saw over 500 punters flock to the Annandale for an unforgettable celebration of local music, quickly establishing My Filthy Riot as a fixture on the Sydney music calendar.
