Korn, System Of A Down, Blink-182, BMTH Members & More To Play Chester Bennington Tribute Show

Linkin Park have revealed who’ll be tackling the huge task of stepping into Chester Bennington‘s shoes in their forthcoming concert in honour of their late frontman.

The band’s ranks will be bolstered with some blockbuster names from across the rock and metal world for their first live appearance since Chester’s tragic death back in July.

Bring Me The Horizon‘s Oli Sykes; Korn‘s Jonathan Davis; System Of A Down‘s Daron Malakian, Shavo Odadjian and John Dolmayan; and Avenged Sevenfold‘s M. Shadows and Synyster Gates will all be joining the nu-metal legends on stage at the one-night-only show at LA’s Hollywood Bowl on 27th October, under the banner of ‘Linkin Park And Friends Celebrate Life In Honor Of Chester Bennington’.

Blink-182 will also perform at the show, alongside Kiiara (whose vocals graced one of LP’s final singles ‘Heavy’), ex-Yellowcard member Ryan Key and Machine Gun Kelly (who delivered a surprisingly heartfelt cover of ‘Numb’ in honour of Chester following his death).

More details are expected to arrive soon, but this is definitely shaping up to be a monster show, which is all the more amazing considering all funds raised from the event will be donated to Music for Relief’s One More Light Fund, in memory of Chester.

The announcement of the concert’s lineup comes after Linkin Park’s rhyme-spitter Mike Shinoda admitted that playing without Chester for the first time was going to be “scary” and a “rollercoaster of emotion”.

Catch the official poster for the concert below, and stay tuned for more details.
