Country Musician Changes Stance On Gun Control Following Las Vegas Attack

One musician who played at Route 90 Harvest festival in Las Vegas over the weekend says the deadly mass shooting that took place on Sunday evening  has changed completely his views on gun control.

The shooting, which ABC reports the currently death toll as being at least 59, has transpired as the biggest mass shooting in American history, and the unspeakably tragic event has already prompted public responses worldwide from politicians, celebrities and musicians.

Now guitarist Caleb Keeter who played earlier that afternoon with the Josh Abbott band has revealed that his lifelong support of the 2nd amendment in the US Constitution; the right to bear arms, has been irreversibly altered as a result of the shooting.’

“I’ve been a proponent of the 2nd amendment my entire life,” Keeter tweeted. “Until the events of last night. I cannot express how wrong I was. Enough is enough… this is completely and totally out of hand. We need gun control RIGHT. NOW.

“My biggest regret is that I stubbornly didn’t realise it until my brothers on the road and myself were threatened by it,” he continued. “We are unbelievably fortunate not to be among the number of victims killed or seriously wounded.”
